Custom Interior Designs Ltd. offers complete design and construction services to finish your basement or any remodeling project in your home.  We specialize in unique floor plans, room design, custom cabinetry, and architectural details with personalized service and attention to detail.  Communication and customer service are a main focus of our operations, with key personnel available to help with any questions and decisions that need to be made, even during the evening hours until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturdays.  Having been in business for over 35 years, we realize that when someone is working in your home for an extended period of time, that it is very important to solve problems and respond quickly to customer needs.

History

Company founder and General Manager, Gerald Vidmar started C.I.D. Ltd in 1975 in his parents garage at 16 years old.  Building furniture and cabinetry for friends, neighbors, and family, he knew what he would do for the rest of his life and enjoyed every aspect of this business.  Having always been interested in architecture and construction, he quickly found a niche in kitchen and bathroom remodeling, using his handmade, custom-designed cabinets.  With in a few years, a new concept of adding valuable living space in the basements of homes began to take off.  Custom Interior Designs Ltd. was poised to be one of the metro areas first basement finishing companies and at the ground level of a brand new industry.  The custom cabinetry that Jerry was building quickly became a calling card, and a unique offering for people that were ready to finish their basements or remodel their current living space. C.I.D. Ltd. is still the only basement finishing company that can offer custom wet bars, entertainment centers, and other custom built-ins directly from our own shop.
